Hailing from the musical city of Varanasi, India, Dr. Gyawali's passion for the Bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) is evident in his mesmerizing performances and his commitment to preserving the rich heritage of Indian classical music.

A Legacy of Excellence

Dr. Gyawali's musical journey began under the guidance of renowned flutists Shri Vinod Prasanna and Dr. Prahalad Nath. The influence of the legendary sitarist, Late Vidushi Krishna Chakravarty, further shaped his artistic sensibilities. His dedication to his craft led him to earn a Ph.D. in Musicology from Banaras Hindu University.
