Jonathan Sell is a versatile musician and educator whose work spans a wide range of styles, including Western classical music, progressive rock, jazz, and oriental maqam. Central to his artistry is the belief in music as a universal language that transcends cultural, national, and stylistic boundaries. As a member of the Orientalische Musikakademie Mannheim, Jonathan is deeply committed to fostering cultural exchange through music. He is actively involved in diverse ensembles such as NeckarGanga, Haz’art Trio (Arabic Jazz), The Swindlers (Progressive Rock & Jazz), Tuyala (Spoken Word & Jazz), and Fityan (Oriental Jazz Rock), each showcasing his dynamic musical expression. With over a decade of teaching experience, Jonathan is a faculty member at the International Music Centre Ashram, where he teaches Double Bass and Bass Guitar, inspiring students to explore the universal language of music across genres and traditions
